Ms. Kate graduated from a prestigious university in the United Kingdom, where she studied biological sciences and specialized in neuroscience and psychology, and studied chemistry up to the first year of her university course.
Before embarking on her university journey on a scholarship, she completed an international A-levels course in Malaysia with the results of 3A* and 1A, and received 2 awards: Highest Mark for Biology in Asia, and Highest Mark for Chemistry in Malaysia.
During her studies, Kate was active in science communication and education, as well as general public speaking. She has over 3 years of part-time tutoring experience, most recently teaching pre-university subjects. She promotes active learning through her lessons rather than solely spoon-feeding her students, to equip students with skills to practice lifelong learning in any topic. Most of her students have learned to be more accountable for their own learning progress and have achieved commendable improvement in their studies.
